Pfannenberg Introduces the New DTI 8000P Series for Demanding Outdoor Applications

Reliable cooling for outdoor containers, battery energy storage systems and micro data centers

Pfannenberg is pleased to introduce the new DTI 8000P Series, a range of outdoor cooling units developed for demanding applications in containerized systems, battery energy storage installations, micro data centers and other outdoor infrastructure.
Designed to support reliable operation in challenging environments, the DTI 8000P Series provides dependable cooling where critical equipment is exposed to heat, cold, dust, sand, rain and wind.

Built for demanding outdoor environments

Outdoor installations require thermal management solutions that can withstand changing and often extreme environmental conditions. The DTI 8000P Series is built to deliver stable cooling performance across a wide ambient temperature range from -40 °C to +55 °C. With IP55 protection towards the equipment space and an optional rainhood, the units are suitable for a wide range of demanding outdoor applications. The integrated low ambient package with heater supports reliable operation even in low-temperature environments.

Designed for modern infrastructure

The DTI 8000P Series is especially suited for applications where system reliability and stable operating conditions are critical. Typical fields of use include:

  • Battery Energy Storage Systems

  • Micro Data Centers

  • Containerized industrial systems

  • Outdoor power and infrastructure applications

With multiple performance classes and cooling capacities from 1,000 W to 5,200 W, the series offers flexible options for different system sizes and cooling requirements.

Smart, safe and future-ready

The DTI 8000P Series combines robust outdoor performance with intelligent functionality. Modbus RTU communication and fault alarm support remote monitoring and integration into machine or system environments. The units are ETL listed according to UL 60335, supporting safe use in industrial applications. In addition, the use of the low-GWP refrigerant R513A makes the series a regulation-compliant and future-ready cooling solution.
